About The Author

Bridget Farmer is a printmaker living in country Victoria with her husband, two sons and lots of chickens (all with fabulous names).

She came to Australia from Ireland in her late 20s and fell in love with the vast array of birdlife Australia had to offer, so she stayed.

She lives next to a giant, old river red gum and likes to watch the tree's inhabitants from her studio window while inking up her latest etching.
