Dingo Hand Puppet

Wandi, our dingo, is a pure Australian alpine dingo. He lives around the snowy mountain range in Victoria and New South Wales. His species can be found in forests, deserts and other parts of Australia. He loves hunting and eating kangaroos, wallabies, feral pigs and cats, rabbits, foxes, wombats, rodents, birds and lizards. He’ll sleep in a cave or hollow log when he’s fully fed and tired.

Wandi our dingo is a full-bodied hand puppet. He’s designed and handmade in the shape and colours of an Australian dingo in the wild. He is stuffed like a soft toy but comes to life. Your hand goes in from his stomach into his front appendages, head, and mouth. Bring him to life and make him talk. He has lots of stories and adventures to share with you. Your baby and child will bond with Wandi their hand puppet. You won’t be able to separate them.

Your baby and child will love, respect and gain empathy for dingoes, becoming passionate about preserving wildlife and their environment. We spent time meticulously creating Wandi to resemble an Australian dingo in the wild. We use golden rusty brown fur on his body, head, arms and legs. He has white fur on his chin, chest, and stomach. He has beautiful, engaging, rustic brown eyes and a black fabric nose. His erect ears are typical of dingoes.
