About The Author

Warren Brim was born in Cairns and grew up in Kuranda on the Tablelands. He is from the Djabugay people and is the grandson of Djabuganydji elders, Warren and Winnie Brim. Warrens artwork is based on the Dreaming stories told to him by his family and features many of the animals that were traditionally hunted by his people. Warren holds a Diploma in Visual Arts and his work is held in private collections in Australia and overseas. Born in Suva, Fiji, Anna grew up in Australia. She studied art at the National Art School in Sydney and over the years developed a special interest in printmaking. Since 1984 Anna has worked with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students assisting them to rediscover their culture through contemporary artwork. She has exhibited widely and written extensively on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contemporary art.
