About the Author

Merrion Frances "Mem" Fox AM is an Australian writer of children's books and an educationalist specialising in literacy. Fox has been semi-retired since 1996, but she still writes and gives seminars. She lives in Adelaide, South Australia.

Olivia Rawson trained as a teacher at Flinders University where she was taught by Mem Fox. She gave up the excitement of teaching for the mayhem of motherhood. She loves Adelaide, where she lives with her husband and three children.
