Sea Turtle Hand Puppet

Archelon, our beautiful loggerhead sea turtle, lives around coral reefs, bays, and estuaries in tropical and warm temperate waters off the coast of Queensland, Northern territory. Western Australia and New South Wales. He loves eating crabs, mollusks, jellyfish, sea urchins and snails, and hangs around coral reefs scraping off seagrass and algae.

Archelon is a full-bodied hand puppet. He’s designed and handmade in the shape and colours of an Australian loggerhead turtle in the wild, and carefully hand-crafted using 100% premium soft and luxurious polyester fabric. Once you bring Archelon to life, your baby and child will bond with him. You won’t be able to separate them.

Your baby and child will love, respect, and gain empathy for loggerhead sea turtles, becoming passionate about preserving wildlife and their environment. We spent time meticulously creating Archelon to resemble an Australian loggerhead turtle. We use green mottled fabric, printed with scutes. We cut and sew the pattern to resemble the back shell of a turtle. We use the same fabric for his flippers. He can hide his head and flippers inside his shell. You can manipulate his arms and head and mouth with your fingers and hand. His beautiful and engaging green eyes will make you want to play with him and take him with you everywhere.
